The evaluation of defects and certain manufacturing anomalies sometime require an outside 'independent' assessment. Chemical
analysis, hardness and impact resistance can be used to determine the appropriateness of the material and assessment of the effects
of manufacturing techniques on the finished container.
Our staff at the laboratory in North Carolina performs the process of mounting and polishing samples for analysis. Samples can
then be examined for microscopic flaws, grain size and flow, then digitally photographed.
Our metallurgical engineering staff, whose report of findings can be issued, also performs evaluations of specimens.
